She received her Registered Professional Nurse degree from Queens Hospital Center in New York, then completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College. She then received her Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Rochester and subsequently her Clinical Nurse Specialist. In 1994 she was licensed as an Adult Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in NYS.
Lyn has many years of experience in the healthcare field and has worked in various psychiatric settings including inpatient service, outpatient clinic, emergency department, and private practice. She specializes in adult psychotherapy and psychoanalytical psychotherapy and is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
